Young people need ways to develop vital life-long learning skills – but perhaps even more critical for young people with autism spectrum disorders who so rarely have opportunities to learn these vital life and job skills in a safe and supportive environment that allows them to explore arts opportunities in preparation for the “real world” experiences within their school, family, community, and workplace.
By supporting ArtAbility, you will provide participants a wide range of new artistic opportunities including puppetry, theatre, music, dance and the visual arts. ArtAbility uses hands-on arts participation as a vehicle to develop these life-long learning skills such as self-esteem, cooperation, flexibility, self-expression, perseverance, creative problem solving and communication.
