Imagination Stage

Bring your favorite characters to life on the stage! Explore what it takes to make a compelling character, using familiar stories to spark ideas and understand what drives characters forward in a story. Campers use their actor’s tools of body, voice, mind, and imagination to transform into fun, theatrical characters. Will you become a sneaky tiger? A careful alien? A dramatic singer? Anything is possible! Each day in this camp, our teaching artists lead campers in exploration of a story or concept based in the camp's theme, followed by mini-lessons in drama, art, song, instrument play, or movement to bring the story or concept to life. Activities are designed to encourage creative expression while promoting confidence and self-esteem. Ready your imagination for an emotive adventure! 

Campers work together to create an informal sharing, giving friends and family an opportunity to see these fun character creations (and their newly sharpened theatre arts skills!) on the last day of camp.

Campers provide their own nut-free lunch and snacks. Week-long after-care is available (4:00-6:00 p.m.).
