Improvisation, the art of acting without a script, is the ultimate in creative freedom. Through clever games, students learn the rules of improv, how to keep a scene alive, and make their partners look good. A collaborative experience, this camp challenges students to step out of their comfort zone and let collective creativity be the star!

In the afternoon, it’s all about the script!. But… it has to be written first! Students learn the basics of playwriting including creative characters, fantastical settings, and compelling plots. Through on-your-feet games or tickle-your-brain writing prompts, students work together with peers to create amazing scripted scenes, monologues, and short shows.

Campers provide their own nut-free lunch and snacks. Week-long after-care is available (4:00-6:00 p.m.)
