Portable canoes for dogs? Electric self-chewing gum? Students work together with their classmates to dream up wild inventions, then, through games, exercises, and scripted commercials, learn the skills of acting in filmed commercials for those products. Balancing information and creativity, acting in commercials is a unique challenge that students tackle, made more fun through their own creativity! Anti-slip banana shoes, anyone? 

Then in the afternoon, put down the inventions and pick up the scripts. Through games and exercises, students explore the basics of character development to build believable characters for the stage. Campers work together as an ensemble to build an environment where they can let their creativity run wild and take risks!

Campers provide their own nut-free lunch and snacks. Week-long after-care is available (4:00-6:00 p.m.).
