Come alive during the morning session of Dance: The Greatest Showman, where studentslearn the basics of jazz and musical theatre dance while exploring songs from the blockbuster movie, The Greatest Showman!Campers learn footwork, rhythmic awareness, and choreography while conveying the high spirited energy of the circus. Campers develop performance skills, rehearse choreographed routines, and learn how to work as an ensemble while expressing themselves individually.

In the afternoon, campers put their dancing shoes away and grab some pen and paper. Campers get creative as they collaborate with each other and a teaching artist to develop an original theatrical piece that may include short scenes, monologues, or ensemble-style movement surrounding a theme that is important to the group. Campers gain insight into the play creation process using writing prompts as well as on-your-feet exercises!

Campers provide their own nut-free lunch and snacks. Week-long after-care is available (4:00-6:00 p.m.).
