Perform in a musical at Imagination Stage! Under the guidance of highly skilled teaching artists, campers learn valuable theatre arts skills in acting, singing, movement, and backstage design, all while rehearsing a production. Campers spend half their day in rehearsal and the other half in fun classes aimed at enhancing their performance skills. They are also immersed in the backstage process, helping create costumes, props, and scenic elements that are used in the final performance. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with after-care options available. Campers provide their own lunch and snacks. 

SeussicalKIDS**transports audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, as the story of Horton, a loyal and independent elephant, unfolds on stage. Horton discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child, who gets in trouble for thinking too many "thinks." Horton's challenge is twofold — not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

**“KIDS” versions are 30 minute adaptations of the original musicals from Music Theatre International. Performances will take place on the last day of camp at either 12:30pm or 1:30pm.
