Perform in a musical at Imagination Stage! Under the guidance of highly skilled teaching artists, campers learn valuable theatre arts skills in acting, singing, movement, and backstage design, all while rehearsing a production. Campers spend half their day in rehearsal and the other half in fun classes aimed at enhancing their performance skills. They are also immersed in the backstage process, helping create costumes, props, and scenic elements that are used in the final performance. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with after-care options available. Campers provide their own lunch and snacks.
The Wizard of Oz is a timeless tale of friendship, bravery, and the power of home. Dorothy travels to Oz and back, meeting new friends and creating an enemy or two along the way.Filled with classic characters like The Tin Man, Scarecrow, Lion, and Toto, the story invites audiences to dance down the yellow brick road and search over the rainbow, all to discover that there really is “no place like home.” Performances will take place on the last day of camp at either 1:30pm or 2:30pm.
