Pegasus is a two-year actor-training program designed for students with cognitive, developmental, and/or physical disabilities. This ensemble allows students to further develop their individual theatre arts techniques while working in a collaborative artistic ensemble. In the program's second year, student artists begin rehearsing a fully-realized production, presented at the end of their final semester.
AUDITIONS: Pegasus spots are open only to students selected through an audition process. Space is limited and we select students who will commit to the process and will work well within an ensemble of their peers. Interested students are asked to first perform and film a short story or monologue (instructions and guidelines will be shared ahead of time) as well take part in a group workshop held on the first day of the program (September 20, 2023), demonstrating their ability to work as an ensemble. Video audition submission deadline has been extended to September 1st!
Acceptance to the company is through a two-step audition process. Please visit our website for more information on our Advanced Training Programs or contact Shanna Sorrells at ssorrells@imaginationstage.org for details and more information.
*Students ages 18-21 must be enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program for the 2023-2024 school year
