The Musical Theatre Conservatory is an intensive, two-semester acting technique training opportunity for students entering grades 7-12. In Semester 1, students participate in advanced-level classroom work in acting and singing techniques (character building, lyric/text analysis, physicality/movement, and scene work). Semester 2 focuses on the actor’s process in rehearsal and building performance material for their end-of-year performance: a final Showcase on Sunday, May 19 in the Reeve Studio Theatre for family and friends and an invited panel of guests that includes area directors, casting directors, and university faculty.
