The blank page needs your creativity during this week-long inventive endeavor! Collaborate with fellow campers and explore the essentials of playwriting, including the basics of creating characters, setting, and a compelling plot using writing prompts and up-on-your-feet improvisation activities. Campers incorporate acting skills as they take their original works from the page to the stage.

In the afternoon, get ready to rock! Grab your school uniform and instrument of choice as we rock out to songs from the hit musical School of Rock. Using songs from the show, students learn basic singing and acting techniques and then bring them together on stage through dynamic characters and motivated staging. School of Rock is especially fun for summer camp because the characters are all written to be played by actors the same age as our campers! Join the band and “Stick it to the Man!”

Campers provide their own nut-free lunch and snacks. Week-long after-care is available (4:00-6:00 p.m.).
