In this camp, students spend the mornings movin’ and groovin’! Street Jazz is a high energy dance form featured in many popular dance shows, movies, and music videos that combines the techniques and styles of jazz and hip-hop dance. Each day, campers build strong and flexible bodies through dance warm ups, develop technical skills through center work and across-the-floor exercises, and then apply dance skills to high-energy choreography. Grab your water bottles and get ready to dance.

Then in the afternoon, put away your dancing shoes and pick up the scripts. Middle school level acting camps explore the core concepts of acting through fun and up-on-your-feet games and exercises. Campers are encouraged to refine their technique through understanding of character, character relationships, and scene structure to create compelling performances.

Campers provide their own nut-free lunch and snacks. Week-long after-care is available (4:00-6:00 p.m.).
