Dance through life in this gravity defying musical theatre class, and beat the summer heat with a trip to the Emerald City. This camp is a perfect fit for aspiring triple threats out there who like things fast-paced. Students work with professional teaching artists to delve into several selections from the hit broadway musical Wicked. Examining plot structure and character motivations, students learn to bring a complete character to the stage and celebrate the art of musical theatre storytelling. Lessons in vocal technique and dance vocabulary give students a diverse toolbox from which to draw as they build and rehearse the musical selections. A performance of their work is held on the final day of camp.
