Look at that! What do you see? I see a brown bear looking at me! Join Imagination Stage as we explore beloved books by Eric Carle such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar; Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?; and The Very Quiet Cricket. Using stories, songs, and art projects, students experience the Eric Carle stories with their bodies and imaginations. This camp encourages creative expression and promotes self-esteem while working on skills such as active listening, problem-solving, and sharing. Put on your adventuring outfit, because all of Eric Carle’s characters are waiting for you to join them in their next adventure!

A typical morning at camp begins with free-play stations, followed by interactive story time, a drama activity, snack break (snack is brought from home), a movement or dance activity, visual art, and a closing activity. At the end of the session, campers show off their newly sharpened theatre arts skills in an informal sharing for friends and family on the last day of camp.
