Each morning, campers learn the basic elements of hip-hop dance, such as footwork, rhythm, body isolations, and groove, while exploring the vast culture of hip-hop dance. Dancers get the opportunity to work on choreography, learn the art of free-style dancing aimed at developing their own hip-hop style, and look at hip-hop’s influence on musical theatre.

In the afternoon, move from dancing queen to drama queen. Middle school level acting camps explore the core concepts of acting through fun and up-on-your-feet games and exercises. Campers are encouraged to refine their technique through understanding of character, character relationships, and scene structure to create compelling performances.

Campers provide their own nut-free lunch and snacks. Week-long after-care is available (4:00-6:00 p.m.).
