Ready to move and groove on the stage? Then this introductory dance is for you! Young dancers learn basic dance vocabulary, how to tell a story through movement, and how to use their imagination to create beautiful moves. Using popular literature and stories, students learn rhythm, spatial awareness, and body control while exploring the characters and plot through dance. This class encourages creative expression while promoting confidence and self-esteem. Classwork culminates in an informal sharing for families on the last day of class. Put on your dancing shoes and dance the afternoon away with us!
