Step into the role of a playwright and experience the magic of creating your very own play! In Play Creation, students learn about the structure of a play and work collaboratively to explore the play making process from the ground up. Students devise unique characters, obstacles, and situations through games and activities, then explore a variety of pathways to playwriting that tie their ideas into a script. Students can expect up-on-your-feet improvisation and other physical play-devising techniques as they create their original stories. Classwork culminates in a final sharing for families on the last day of class. So, let your imagination run wild and join us for Play Creation, where every child gets to be a playwright!
