Inspired by the stories from Greek mythology, students develop an understanding of story structure, given circumstances, and character motivation to create their own dramatic tales–perhaps Percy’s next great adventure! Through exploring the Percy Jackson stories by Rick Riordan, students sharpen their actor’s tools of body, voice, mind, and imagination. Students experiment with playing a variety of characters while collaborating on short scenes. Classwork culminates in a final sharing for families on the last day of class. So grab your winged sneakers and get ready to fly into a brand new adventure.
