Theatre Technology and Design for Emerging Professionals is an immersive and comprehensive class designed for high school students interested in the technical and design aspects of theatre production. Learn what it takes to make a design come together for a show. Get hands-on experience with the tools of the trade, meet industry experts, learn professional techniques, and make your own designs for the stage. This 10-week course takes students through a full mock-design process where students make their own design packages they can keep for their portfolios! Students leave with a clear understanding of the various career paths available in this dynamic field.
