The goal of this innovative program is to develop new plays for young performers! Speak Out on Stage is a 1-year program wherein actors are given a unique opportunity to take risks on stage and share their ideas as they create new dramatic works that speak to their experiences of themselves and their peers. The ensemble members, selected by audition, spend the year working with a professional director and playwright, generating material and play-building during the first semester, then spending the second semester rehearsing for their world premier production performed in the Reeve Studio Theatre.
