Calling all Super Kids! It’s time to enroll in the Superhero Academy. At this school, instead of learning fractions, you learn how to defeat supervillains! You choose a superhero name, pick a catchphrase (or shall we say signphrase?), and create your very own gadgets, all while exploring your actor’s tools–body, expression, mind, and imagination. Students explore stories and solve problems with their super teammates. The class uses dramatic play, visual arts, and movement to teach story structure and original character building. There is no stopping us as we embark on this great superhero adventure. All of this super work culminates in a final sharing of super hero scenes for families on the last day of class.

American Sign Language (ASL) is the lead language in this class. Support is provided for those who are still learning ASL.

Deaf, Hard of Hearing, KODA, hearing…all are welcome!
