Dive into the exciting world of theatre and discover the magic of the stage! Young actors use their tools of body, voice, mind, and imagination as they begin to develop their budding acting skills. Activities may include fun warm ups to get the body and mind ready to inhabit a character as well as acting and improvisation games that encourage creativity and quick thinking. The class also works towards the creation of short scenes that help student performers build their understanding of dramatic story structure and encourage them to be physically and vocally expressive. Classwork culminates in a final sharing for families on the last day of class. Step into the spotlight and get ready to shine!
