The title character from Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts and teaches that sometimes you need to be a little bit "Naughty" and lead the "Revolting Children" to victory! This class takes a fun approach to developing appropriate vocal technique, musicianship, and acting skills simultaneously. Students use their actors' tools (body, voice, mind, and imagination) to explore character-driven songs and scenes from this popular musical based on the Roald Dahl Book. The semester culminates in an informal sharing of two to three musical numbers from this show.
