Whether you want to “Whistle a Happy Tune,” “Seize the Day,” or learn to “Step in Time,” this class is perfect for you. Drawing from show-stopping Broadway hits, students learn the basics of musical theatre through fun vocal warm-ups that promote healthy singing practices as well as musical concepts of rhythm, melody, and pitch. Students also participate in creative drama activities designed to explore character and story and develop an understanding of how to tell a story through song. All these new skills come together in an informal sharing for families to enjoy during the final class. Get ready to break a leg and let the Broadway magic begin!
