Get those boogie-woogie shoes ready to dance into some fun! Whether banding against Ms. Trunchbull with Matilda, stepping in time with Mary Poppins, or flying with Peter Pan, students build body awareness and self-esteem in this beginner dance and creative movement class. Using golden age classics and contemporary musical theatre tunes, children explore beginner dance steps used on the Broadway stage, learning about rhythm and character as they move. These classes encourage creative expression and promote confidence in your young artist. Classwork culminates in an informal sharing for families on the last day of class. So let’s be “Loud” and dance away the gloom!
