Calling all movers and groovers! In this class, students learn basic dance techniques, how to create new characters, and how to move through imaginary settings. Students also explore popular stories through dance, helping to make connections between imaginative worlds and their own movements while working on skills such as rhythm, spatial awareness, and active listening. This class encourages creative expression while promoting confidence and self-esteem. Classwork culminates in an informal sharing for families on the last day of class. Put on your dancing shoes and dance the afternoon away with us!
