Ahoy, me mateys! Where shall we sail today? Maybe we’ll voyage to Mermaid Island with Pirate Pete or sail across the seven seas! Learn how to talk like a pirate, swim like a mermaid, dance like a jellyfish, and dive into the ocean as we develop problem-solving skills and a keen eye for hidden treasure. Through creative play and musical exploration students make connections between imaginative worlds and their own life experiences. Students are introduced to pattern and rhythm through beginner music lessons, instrument play, and creative movement to music. This class encourages creative expression while promoting confidence and self-esteem. Classwork culminates in a final sharing for families on the last day of class.
