1596 Narrative Filmmaking Project II

In the second semester of this two-semester course, students take their script and pre-production material created during Part 1 and move forward into the production phase of the process. Students rotate through crew positions and execute their production plans. Because of the complexities of production, the first seven weeks of this class run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. With production complete, the final seven weeks of class adjust to a 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. schedule (14-weeks total), as students shift into post-production (editing) and work towards finishing their original film projects.
