Dive headfirst into the words of the Bard with a hilarious twist! In this camp, students tackle the iconic works of William Shakespeare as seen through the lens of comedy! Using scenes from the Reduced Shakespeare Company’s popular play, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), campers gain an understanding of classic Shakespearean language while making bold character choices. Participants explore Shakespearean language, characters, and themes while learning how to distill the essence of his plays into engaging, fast-paced, and funny performances. Selected scenes are rehearsed and performed on the final day of camp.
