Perform in a musical at Imagination Stage! Under the guidance of highly skilled teaching artists, campers learn valuable theatre arts skills in acting, singing, movement, and backstage design, all while rehearsing a production. Campers spend half their day in rehearsal and the other half in fun classes aimed at enhancing their performance skills. They are also immersed in the backstage process, helping create costumes, props, and scenic elements that are used in the final performance. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with after-care options available. Campers provide their own lunch and snacks.
Annie KIDS**With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find her parents and escape the orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. With the help of her fellow orphans and billionaire Oliver Warbucks, Annie finds the home and family she’s always wanted. Join our cast of orphans, sneaky villains, and proud New Yorkers in this classic story featuring unforgettable songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard-Knock Life.”
**“KIDS” versions are 30 minute adaptations of the original musicals from Music Theatre International.
