Intro to Improv

6 weeks
Tuesdays, 11/6-12/11
Grades 2-3
Class #5745

Improvisation is acting without a script; a style of acting that encourages risk taking, bold choices, and character specificity. Working with theatre games and short-style improvisational scenes, students focus on important actor skills such as active listening, making choices, following objectives, self-confidence, and teamwork. An informal sharing of their work will be performed for families on the final day of the semester.
