Donate to the Jonathan Kirby Memorial Scholarship!

Honoring the legacy of Imagination Stage teaching artist, Jonathan Kirby, this scholarship will provide much-needed financial assistance for families with young artists participating in Jonathan’s beloved Speak Out on Stage program.

During Jonathan’s time composing music for this program, he helped students explore themes they were passionate about, including anti-bullying, the importance of strong friendships, using your voice for change, women in STEM, and diversity and representation in theater. Jonathan’s gifts were numerous - accomplished musician, gifted composer, skilled educator, mentor, friend. There weren’t any students who didn’t enjoy working with him, nor any colleagues who weren’t inspired by his sense of fun and joy. Jonathan’s legacy lives on in the philosophy of his songs: persistently positive and yearning for a better day.
