1414 Filmmaking Conservatory: Lighting for Film

Light can tell a story. This hands-on workshop explores the practical process and artistic implications of lighting a scene for film. Using a full complement of lighting tools, students work to create a scene while learning the techniques of the craft. The film conservatory is best for students who have completed either Narrative Filmmaking or the High School Filmmaking Intensive. Students enrolled in the Filmmaking Conservatory program may concurrently register for the Independent Film Study program.
